DIY Coffee Bean Body Scrub

Don't throw away your used coffee beans after making your morning coffee

INGREDIENTS

2 Tbsp used ground Coffee Beans
3 Tbsp Liquid *Oil of choice
1/4 tsp ground Cinnamon

METHOD

1. Mix all ingredients into a bowl & your ready to exfoliate your way to smooth, soft skin!

NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION

The caffeine in coffee grounds is believed to enhance fat metabolism & increase circulation via dilating blood vessels beneath the skin improving blood flow & reducing the appearance of cellulite. Coffee also contains chlorogenic acid (CGA) which is thought to have anti-inflammatory effects & reduce hyper-pigmentation. The caffeic acid which is created during the brewing process is a potent antioxidant.

You can use whatever oil you have at home but you can be more specific depending on your skin type.
- Coconut & jojoba are light oil that are easily absorbed
- Sweet almond often used for massaging has a nice consistence
- Macadamia or Olive Oil are deeply nourishing & are great for dry skin
